Upstairs Bathroom Moodboard

As I said before, this makeover is more of a phase one than the final product. Eventually, the entire bathroom will more than likely be gutted, but for now I’m going to have some fun with it and try not to break the bank in the process.

First off, DO YOU SEE THAT COLOR??? It’s going to be mustard yellow and I cannot wait to see how it turns out!

I mean, does this not look like a happy, cozy, country bathroom? GAH! I’m so excited to paint the floors! I have never painted a floor and I’m curious/anxious how it will turn out. I doubt I will end up with everything on the moodboard, but it’s a great starting point. I have already ordered the vanity and overhead light. With delivery times of late, I figure I better order now and pray it gets here in a timely manner. Remember the nightstands in the master bedroom? Those took three solid months to get here. Hopefully if I order now, by the time it gets here I’ll be ready for it! As of right now the vanity says it will be delivered to the store today, but it’s still saying it’s a state away.

We have also been dealing with a severe honey bee issue in our chimney. I don’t know if you can tell from the photo, but the bee guy who is slowly removing them says he thinks there’s at least TWENTY THOUSAND BEES!!! And since he has blocked all their paths back to their hive, they have been finding interesting ways to get inside the house and the upstairs bedroom currently has bees… I’m not going to be doing the upstairs bathroom until he gets them all out! One day we want to have bees for honey; just not from our house! Have you ever had an issue like this before? It’s crazy!
