It is finally time to reveal to you our upstairs bathroom makeover and it happens to be my favorite bathroom ever! It’s a dramatic change, but it is the sweetest, most relaxing bathroom I’m pretty sure I’ve ever been inside. If your haven’t seem the before photos, go to this blog post and take a quick look. We get a lot of company. We have a lot of kids and grandkids and plenty of sleepovers. This bathroom is the bathroom all of our guests use; so I had to make it feels special for them as much as for us. Before it felt like a bland white box with an ill-fitting vanity and not much lighting. It made it feel sad and not really a place you wanted to climb in the tub and read a book until your toes would be prunes.
The majority of the changes were all made with paint. We painted the upper walls Yosemite Yellow by BM, the outer bathtub was Midnight Stroll by Kensington and Clark, and the floor was a floor and porch paint for durability. Come on, look at that floor! Diamonds really are a girls best friend. 🙂
